    We all know that the history of LGBTQ had been very dark and full of violence, so can you share anyone (historic figures, activists) that you think helped in establishing the rights and changing the views of the world towards the LGBTQ community for the better.

    One of the iconic activists that I knew who fearlessly raised her voice for the rights of LGBTQ was Marsha Johnson. Even if her safety was in jeopardy, she never back out.

    For me, the death of Matthew Shepard open the eyes of the world how gay people are being persecuted just because of our sexual preference.
